A face lift may be desirable if you have experienced
a loss of skin elasticity and muscle tone of the face
and neck or if you have the appearance of jowls and deep
creases beneath the base of the nose and the corner of
the mouth. Other indications are facial and neck wrinkles
or a desire to change the chin and neck contour if you
think you have a tired facial appearance. It has
been my experience that most patients don’t require
a full face lift. During the consultation and subsequent
examination, I have found that most patients require only
a limited version of the full face lift procedure, with
more of a focus on improving the cheek, jawline and neck.
The desired result is a more rested and youthful
contour to the face and neck. In my hands
the overall goal is to make the patient look like a younger
version of themselves. Avoidance of the done or
tight look following the procedure is paramount.
